Boone : "… jolly; a boon companion to all"… so true of her.

Full of life, always ready to enthusiastically jump into any game, our Boone is instantly everyone’s “best” friend.

Boone is quite lovely in type, with a kind eye and gentle expression, a most pleasing balanced outline with good depth and length of ribcage, excellent hindquarters for sound effortless movement with excellent reach and drive. She is well off for bone without being overdone and at 22’’ and 55 lbs. is much like her dam Mieka in built. Very athletic, she is an intense sprinter and an impressive swimmer with a magnificent water entry.

Sweet as they come, Boone is one of the easiest dogs I’ve ever had the chance to own. She lives to please and abounds in kindness. With her bright disposition, she responds well to training and is quick to learn. She enjoys obedience and rally but retrieving birds is tops for her.

Having recently taken “Best of Opposite in Sweepstakes” at the FCRSC’s 2010 Specialty, it seems that Boone is on her way to becoming a wonderful show girl as well.
