Born in December 2002, Mieka was quick to grow into a promising youngster and, during her first year, won a “Best Puppy in Group” at 8 months and succeeded her Working Certificate at 10.

Well-balanced, with a clean neck into correct layback, good brisket, front and rear with good angles and low set hocks, Mieka makes for a sound mover who could go all day… and does. Petite and charming with a nicely moulded head and soft eye expression, it is with ease that our happy tail-wagging girl became a Canadian and American Show Champion.

Mieka is no doubt my huntress “par excellence”. With her spunk, drive and will to please, combined with natural hunting abilities, she quickly picked up several hunting titles as well as a Judge's Award of Merit (JAM) for her performance in the “Steady Singles” field event at the 2007 FCRSA Specialty.

Mieka is our veteran but you'd never know it. She is as active as ever keeping pace with the young ones and still as soft, as daring and as wonderful.
