Pixie: "… A fairylike or elfin creature, playfully impish and mischievous"... as she very well can be.
From rich English show and working lines, Pixie brings diversity and continuity to Fieldday. She is a most distinctive Flat-Coat full of raciness and attitude with an endearing Peter Pan personality. She’s a teaser and a kisser with warm affectionate ways. Closely connected to her family, she likes to please and with her bright and clever disposition, is a joy to work with.
With her twinkling dark eyes and showy attitude, Pixie calls for attention. At 17 months she was awarded a Group 1 by breeder judges and soon after finished her Canadian Ch by winning the Flat-Coated Retriever Society of Alberta Specialty. She has a gorgeous head, nice long neck flowing into one of the most correct front assemblies, pronounced brisket, correct body length with a tail that just comes right off her back. Her movement is remarkable and she covers ground so flawlessly and effortlessly that she appears to float, or so I’ve been told.
Pixie is most diversified … she’s a go-getter, a winner, a flirt, a queen, a friend… she can be mellow, alert, silly, ingenious, elusive, chummy, soft, bold and very, very sweet. She’s a super marker in the field, a show-off, a delightful companion and there is not one thing I’d change for she’s unique, she’s Pixie.
